Dear Plant,

You're such a simple life form from the surface as compared to us humans,

Yet you're so complex inside out.

You've got so much genetic material but most of it is repetitive.

You've got confusing hormones to determine if you'd flower, photosynthesise, or pass on.

Your cell wall makeup is really confusing me.

And your lipid synthesis, metabolism was never known to me till today.

I don't know how long you'll remain beautiful dear plant.

Hopefully, I'll learn to appreciate you in 2 days.
