A random thought, this is not directed at anyone or anything.

In human relationships, it takes, really 2 very whole hands to clap. You can't just give it all, and you can't take it all.
And you can't calculate how much has been given or how much has been taken.
Its an unmeasurable entity.
And here I talk specifically about love.

Love, something wanted by plenty. Not a need, for a human is able to survive on his own due to Darwin's idea of adaptation. Love, something which gives you that sense of whole, making you feel that you are worth something, that you are wanted by someone. But something so sacred, can be hurting too. Love can turn on you and break your heart. It can make you anxious and drive your sanity into illogical insanity. It can make you feel jealous, and it can make you selfish. But it takes a balance to love and be loved. It is like flying a kite. If you let loose of the string, your kite would obviously fly away with a gust of wind. But if you strap it on too tightly, the string will snap and it too will leave you.

Our parents' love for us is an example we hear day to day from our peers. They brought us to this world and they love us a lot, we to them are their life and soul. But if you have over controlling parents that give you no space to grow and take baby steps to stand on your own two feet, a child would resent it somehow. But in the case where they leave you to do anything you would want, without guidance, the child would probably stray, unless he or she has a mind of logic to think like a mature adult will.

So love, when do you know its time to loosen or tighten that kite string? Well, I would say, go with the flow, the wind. Sometimes, doing the opposite of what is expected in life brings you little surprises. And sometimes, through the painful way, by losing your very first kite, then you would understand how to treasure the future. Eventually, everyone would find their own kite to fly. As what a friend who I admit is a romantic said, "Love is like a coin. There are two sides to it. And when you came to this world, that coin is split into half, and one day you'd find the flipside of your coin". Well, I'm not here to dive into the topic of romantic love.

My father taught me a very valuable word in life. Space. Space doesn't mean physical space between you and another party. Space is a word that is not easy to grasp. Because I took years to figure out what it is truly and practice it. Space is an important value in any human relationship. And there is no other way to describe it than to find out  what it is on your own sadly.

But I have had life's lessons just like anyone of you that has made me think a lot, and grow and realise how my thoughts and actions in the past were sadly, immature. It is difficult to know when it is right or wrong. Hold on to your past for it brings you life's long lessons, but don't grab onto it for dear life, or it'll suffocate the life out of you. Learn to breathe, to grow on your own and it is then, when you can learn how to love.

And to my family, friends and you, I love you.
