I'm starting to like Japanese though I miss my romantic french language dearly.
But Japanese would be useful, at least I can read and understand my favourite japanese labels after this module, like how I understand un peu french with my magnifique L'occitane and of course, ballet mes amis.

Train rides can actually be productive.
あ (a)
い (i) as in for iie - no
う (u) as in for unagi
え (e)
お (o)

I managed to read う on the japanese menu at Ion today.
Feels good.
